Next week is a busy week in the world of international motor shows, as both the LA Motor Show 2013 and Tokyo Motor Show 2013 kick off with press days on 20-21 November. MSN Cars will on the ground at both shows – but here are the cars and concepts that already have us excited about the Tokyo event. There was little doubt that Shelby would call it a day following the completion of the 2010 Ford Shelby Mustang GT500. After all, 540 hp just might not cut it for some Shelby faithful. So to take the 2010 GT500 to the next level, Shelby revealed the Super Snake package at the Mid America Ford and Team Shelby Nationals in Tulsa, Okla.

Porsche plans four-door Panamera convertible

A series of European and U.S. patent applications obtained by AutoWeek show that Porsche remains committed to building a four-door convertible version of its flagship Panamera, despite recent comments from Zuffenhausen insiders indicating the car had been canceled. The new car, depicted in official drawings that accompany the latest Porsche patent applications filed in February, eschews the two-door route taken by all of its upmarket rivals for a four-door body.
