New set of chrome driveshaft lake headers for Model T, A and 32 fords, will fir other but please ask first.  If you have a 32 3W and want this set of headers please contact me.

#1 the chrome will turn blue.... I promise! #3 The chrome is very nice the polishing is rougher. The shop I use does nickel then chrome and no copper, you will see scratches in the chrome!!! From 3 feet away they look really good but up close you can see the imperfections. If you want show chrome get ready to spend $750 on just polishing and plating. This set is drilled for baffles so if you want baffles you wont need to worry about drilling threw the chrome, I already did it.. I have baffles.

Yes you can buy this style header for a little less money other places... But this is a quality header, built to last with parts made in America, its no offshore header built by CHINA like my competition now sells!

This set has my new 35 ford driveshaft style cones. Back in the day they use to cut the driveshaft in half for the cone. I make new ones that are very close to Henry Fords. Lots of guys call them torque tube headers.

Built by Gear Drive in Minneapolis (lakeheaders.com) where we use the best part available 100% made in the USA!!!   No one else only does lake headers, others may offer it but for a decade its all I've done! The top shops around the country use my parts, our stuff has been seen on the cover cars of many magazines.

JIG built and use a 3/8" flange that is laser cut, plasma sucks no matter what others may say! Tubes are cut on a specially designed machine to get almost a zero gap fit between the cone and tube. We offer a swept tube header, where the radius part of the bend is coped to give the header a much more "finished" look.  (see pics)

My flathead headers are by the far the best available. They will clear the F1 box. The primary tubes climb over the rail to give you about 2" clearance. I have had no issues clearing a F1 box so far.

If you have question please call me at 651-485-8075 or look me up at lakeheaders.com or the HAMB search Gear Drive Headers!! You wont find a better header.

Headers on eBay are as is. KNOW what your bidding on.

Maserati GS Zagato

Fri, 20 Apr 2007

This is a the one-off Maserati GS Zagato commissioned by the entrepreneur Paolo Boffi and due for its public debut at the Concours d'Elegance at the Villa d'Este, Italy on the 20th April, a year after the debut of the Zagato-designed Ferrari 575GTZ. This Zagato design is based on the platform of the Maserati Spyder which itself is based on a shortened platform of the recently replaced Coupe. The GS consciously evokes the classic Maserati A6 G Zagato of 1954 in its form, and like that design also has an all aluminium body.

Skoda Octavia vRS to hit 200mph at Bonneville

Thu, 09 Jun 2011

The Skoda Octavia vRS - Bonneville bound. Skoda has come a very long way since Volkswagen rescued it from the ignominy of the communist era, and restored the pride to the Czech car maker. But even though the Skoda of today is now a mainstream maker of quality cars, things haven’t changed so much that they are about to launch a 200mph Skoda, or at least not one you can pop to your local Skoda dealers and get a VAT-free deal on.

Project Car Hell, Unidentifiable German Coupes Edition: Borgward Isabella Coup

Thu, 08 May 2014

Welcome back to Project Car Hell, where every iron atom always finds the oxygen it seeks, every vehicle ran when parked, and the parts you need are always in another continent! Last week, we got all patriotic with a couple of classic American muscle cars, and that just whetted our appetite for cars that were smaller and more, you know, German. We gave you a tough choice between a couple of air-cooled Volkswagens not long ago, but this time we're interested in German marques that disappeared in the 1960s: NSU and Borgward.
