.....Up for Auction is a Used Flightcom SX III Voice Activated Intercom...The photo details a "Clerarance Recorder" with switches, and LED's...However, the "Clearance Recorder" is not installed...A Tag on the rear of the unit shows, from the Factory, that the Clearance Recorder is NOT Installed...The Cables are in Excellent condition...Squelch & Volume Knobs move freely...There is a "Radio/Intercom" isolation switch, 12-32 VDC Input and Co-Pilot Xmit on 1 end; an Aux Stereo (MP3 input) and "Out" plug with an input for the SR-4 Expansion Unit (Not Included) to make it a 4-Place Intercom on the opposite end...The Intercom can operate on A/C Power 12/28 VDC (Power Cord Not Included), or on (2) 9V Batteries (Not Included)...I do not have the Owner's Manual; but I believe it can be downloaded from the internet...

This particular example of a 1935 12/4 Austin Taxi is no ordinary cab though, having transported the rich and famous as part of its role as gust transport for boutique hotel, Blakes, in London’s South Kensington. Plucked from its more humble street life in the 70’s by the hotel’s creator - film star and actress turned hotelier and interior designer - Anouska Hempel (now Lady Weinberg) - the 1935 Austin Taxi Low Loading became the exclusive hotel transport soon after the hotel’s opening, for Blakes’s many famous guests including Ali McGraw, Neil Diamond, Robert Redford, Bob Dylan and Jane Russell.

We got the reveal of the new Bentley Continental GT V8 – and the Continental GTC V8 – last month, ahead of its public unveiling at the Detroit Motor Show today. We also got the leak of some German prices for the Continental GT V8 just after Christmas, which we reckoned meant the UK GT V8 would start around £115k.
