FLIR 12V Power Over Ethernet Injector Model# 41113746

12V Power Over Ethernet Injector

Use the FLIR 12V Power over Ethernet Injector to provide power to more complex M-Series Camera and Joystick Control Unit configurations.

In a simple installation, the Joystick Control Unit can be directly connected to the camera with the supplied double-shielded Ethernet cable. In this case, the Joystick Control Unit draws its power from the camera. But in more complex installations, the camera and Joystick Control Unit can be interconnected using a network switch. If the network switch does not have Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability, a PoE injector can be used to provide power to the Joystick Control Unit.

According to Mitsubishi, the Lancer Evolution will -- at the very least -- live out the 2015 model year, with North American-spec cars going into production this July. We're fairly sure it's not going to be a hybrid, either.

Smart FourJoy concept

Thu, 05 Sep 2013

The Smart FourJoy concept will preview next year's all-new four-seat model at the Frankfurt motor show. Unlike the ForFour (2004-06) that paid only lip service to the brand's iconic city car, this promises to be a true Smart, with the familiar Tridon safety shell, minimal overhangs and plastic panels. At 3,494mm long it's around a meter longer than the original two-seat version but still significantly shorter than a Mini.
