Vauxhall Adam arrives

The Vauxhall Adam – Vauxhall’s new city car – has been revealed and will go on sale in January 2013 with a range of small petrol engines. It was clear when we revealed the Vauxhall Adam last week (well, its German sibling, the Opel Adam, anyway) on its first holiday in Spain to grab some pretty pictures that the official reveal would be close. BMW to show production hybrid X6, 7-series at Frankfurt motor show

A pair of fire-breathing hybrids from BMW based on the X6 and the 7-series will be revealed in production guise at the Frankfurt motor show in September. The ActiveHybrid X6 arrives in the United States late this year, followed by the ActiveHybrid 7 in the spring of 2010. Both hybrids combine electric motors with powerful twin-turbo V8 engines to boost output, performance and fuel economy, while retaining the looks of the popular conventional versions.

New Ford Mondeo gets 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine

Ford has revealed that the new 2013 Mondeo will come with the new 3 cylinder, 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine with 123bhp. But ahead of that event Ford has revealed that the new Mondeo will come with the option of the new 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine from the Focus and facelifted Fiesta. Yes, a 1.0 litre Mondeo is upon us.
