Geneva motor show 2012: a video review
Thu, 08 Mar 2012As is now traditional, CAR gathered together three writers for a video debrief at the end of the first press day at the 2012 Geneva motor show. Listen to executive editor Gavin Green, contributing ed Ben Oliver and associate ed Tim Pollard debate the themes of the Geneva auto show in our video clip. Mercedes Concept Coupe SUV is the new Mercedes ML Coupe (MLC)
Wed, 09 Apr 2014The Mercedes Coupe Concept SUV (pictured) will debut in Beijing Cars UK reported back in 2011 that a Mercedes ML Coupe (perhaps the Mercedes MLC) was in the planning to take on the BMW X6, and Mercedes confirmed as much when they revealed will build a fifth model at its US plant in Alabama. Mercedes plan to start building their fifth model in Alabama in 2015, and today’s reveal of the Mercedes Concept Coupe SUV – which will debut at the Beijing Motor Show – is the first public step on the way to a coupe version of the M-Class – and the battle to steal sales from the BMW X6. Mercedes aren’t saying much about the Concept Coupe SUV, but they do say it’s a sportily-styled coupe SUV and provide a first look at a series production car expected next year.
Ferrari F150: New Enzo to cost €1-1.1m, 499 cars, delivery starts October 2013
Thu, 21 Feb 2013The new Enzo Ferrari – the F150 – will arrive at Geneva, cost €1-1.1m Euros, just 499 will be built and delivery starts in October. We know for sure that the new McLaren P1 will come with 903bhp courtesy of a ‘hybrid’ boost, and it seems likely the new Enzo – the Ferrari F150, until we get the proper name – will usurp that with somewhere between 920 and 950bhp from its V12 plus electric boost. But now we know a bit more.
