Jaguar to end XK production after 18 years
Fri, 07 Mar 2014Jaguar will this summer cease production of the XK 2+2 GT car after 18 years at the top of the Coventry firm’s model range. The decision to stop making the XK comes after the hugely successful launch of the F-Type – which, say analysts, has led to a big fall in XK sales as thousands of buyers queues up to buy the F-Type. Thu, 08 Nov 2007Kia has released photos of the Borrego, a full-size SUV for the North American market. The production model, which was originally previewed as the Mesa Concept at the 2005 Detroit Auto show, would have taken exactly three years to be transformed from a show car to a full production model when it makes its official debut at the NAIAS in 2008. Overall proportions and design details have been adjusted and toned-down noticeably from the Mesa concept, with details such as more realistically-sized alloy wheels, the body-To-DLO ratio, a no-frills interior and, perhaps most apparent, the more subtle greenhouse graphics.

Last year we got the SEAT Leon FR+ bolted on to the Leon range in the UK as a top of the range Leon aimed at extracting a bit more from Leon customers, 25 per cent of whom were already opting for the previous range topper, the Leon FR. That plan obviously worked as SEAT has now added yet another model above the FR+ in the guise of the FR+ Supercopa which offer a special edition styling kit for a sportier look.
