Seven-seater for Cadillac?

Cadillac won’t comment, but it’s all over the Web that General Motors’ luxury division will get a version of the seven-seat sport-utility known internally as Lambda--externally known as the Chevrolet Traverse, the Buick Enclave and the GMC Acadia. No word on the Cadillac’s engine, but the other variants are powered by a 3.6-liter V6 varying in horsepower from 281 hp to 288 hp. Lambdas sell well, with more than 70,000 sold so far this year.

Who's Where: Moray Callum to head Ford Americas Design

Moray Callum has been named Executive Director for Ford Americas design effective May 1, 2009. He will be taking over the position from Peter Horbury, who has been appointed to replace Steve Mattin at Volvo Cars. In his new role, Callum will be charged with leading the design for all cars and trucks designed in Ford's North and South America studios, as well as guide the design of Lincoln and Mercury products.

The biggest Audi showroom in the world hosts the UK debut of the R8 V10 Spyder West London Audi covers 190,000 sq ft over seven floors and displays up to 116 Audis together with a 32 bay workshop and massive parking facilities. There will be 100 staff working on site and Sytner – which operates the showroom – expects to see 30,000 customers through its doors in the first twelve months.
