Up for grabs, I have a powerhead removed from a 1989 85 HP Force-Chrysler outboard. The compression readings are great (see pictures). This was a good running motor, that developed an electric issue, and is now being parted out. There was a small crack on the crankcase on the carburetor side of the motor (see pictures). It was patched with an epoxy, and according to the previous owner, ran for over a year like this without any issue, before developing the electrical issue. It should be able to be run like this, however, if you are worried about it, you can swap the half of crankcase from your powerhead you are replacing with this one. This will bolt on to all 85 HP Force/Chrysler outboards and will fit some 90 HP Force outboards from the early 1990s. Email me for a shipping quote with your zip code.
