Renault Samsung SM7 concept
Tue, 05 Apr 2011Making its debut at the Seoul Motor Show was the Renault Samsung SM7 concept. Despite carrying the concept tagline, the car is a thinly veiled production model of the forthcoming Samsung SM7 in Asia, and possibly the next generation Renault Laguna or Safrane in Europe. The D-segment sedan is based on a stretched platform that underpins the current SM5, and will go head to head with both the Hyundai Grandeur and Kia K7.
Driven: Toyota Aygo (2014)
Tue, 01 Jul 2014When the original Aygo launched in 2005, it shared the A-segment with nine rivals, including its sister cars, the Citroën C1 and Peugeot 107. In 2014, there are 20 small city cars on the European market, placing extra pressure on the Aygo's designers to ensure it offers something unique and competitive. But while the design rethink needs to move the car forward, pragmatism dictates that a truly successful reinvention will ensure the Aygo also remains integrated with Toyota's line-up; it's one of the top sellers in Toyota's European portfolio, and a proven driver of brand loyalty.
Lexus LS 600h L Review & Road Test (2011)

Now perceived by few as being just the luxury arm of Toyota, it is almost universally accepted as a luxury marque in its own right. Which is no mean achievement for a brand which seems to have been developed – at a reported cost of more than $1 billion to Toyota – to build and market a car so firmly based on the Mercedes S Class it made some of the current Chinese cloners look like amateurs.
