Used late-60's-early '70's Ford 390 FE C8AE-6059-B timing cover. Cleaned and glass beaded. No cracks or breaks. Cover does have a lot of fine 'lines' in the surface of the metal that look like hairline cracks, but they are not. Seems like they are marks transferred from the casting mold. All threaded holes are nice. But having effectively put all their eggs in the 500 basket, they have the problem of convincing sceptical US car buyers that the much bigger Fiat 500L is an appealing – and much more practical – proposition for families.
