Ford 427 bird fender emblem Fairlane Galaxie Thunderbolt C3AZ-16228-D. A perfect reproduction of the famous 427 emblems Ford used in a variety of mid-60’s applications. These new emblems feature the correct real gold plating and satin black background finish, and are die cast in a high quality zinc alloy just like the originals .The detail on these emblems is exquisite. The 427 “bird emblem” was used on the front fenders of the 427 cubic inch 1963-1964 Galaxies ,1964 Fairlane Thunderbolts, 66-67 Fairlane R-codes and was the emblem Ford used on its factory dual 4V oval 427 air cleaners. The original part number was C3AZ-16228-D . These are so nice it is suggested to buy them in pairs or a matching set . |

There's the Spectre 341 Challenge in Nevada, Pikes Peak in Colorado and the Mt. Washington Hill Climb in New Hampshire, which just had its 13-year-old record smashed by Subaru Rally Team driver David Higgins.

Underpinning the F-Type is a lightweight aluminium structure with all aluminium double wishbones and a quick ratio steering rack, and all that stiff aluminium means a Jaguar that is 30 per cent stiffer than anything that has gone before.
