This is a 1970 429 completely rebuilt. It is bored 0.040" over stock, has a light RV cam, Badger 8.5:1 Pistons (fully balanced), DOVE-C Heads (75cc), DOVE-A Block, and a Spread Bore intake. It has never been run. Includes distributor (stock), exhaust manifolds, Motorcraft 4bbl carb (one corner broken but weldable, piece included), Gasket kit, all emission devices, brackets, nuts & bolts, air filter housing, fuel pump, flywheel, pulleys, ring gear, electronic module, vacuum devices, electrical connectors, most vac hoses, motor mounts, essentially most everything to make a complete engine. (has several coats of engine paint.) Was going to make ’Hot-Rod Lincoln’ but kept it original.

Toyota Motor Corp. is going for the jugular with its redesigned Prius, setting a 2.05 million yen starting price ($20,750) in Japan that is on par with the newly released Honda Insight. Toyota notified Japanese dealers of the cutthroat pricing policy for its redesigned 1.8-liter gasoline-electric hybrid on March 25, dealers in Japan say.
