Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is official – just 20 to be built
Sat, 17 Sep 2011Lamborghini Sesto Elemento - it's official Perhaps the worst-kept secret at Lamborghini has been production confirmation of the Sesto Elemento, the ultra lightweight supercar Lamborghini revealed at the Paris Motor Show this time last year. As long ago as November last year we had the news that the Sesto Elemento would go in to production after a French car news site reported that Lamborghini would be building a very limited run of the cars at €2.5 million each. By May of this year we knew that Lamborghini had already started getting the Sesto Elemento ready for the first customers, and we reported that the first cars would be heading for customers by October this year at a more reasonable €1.9 million – although that’s October in Italian terms, so anything up to next Spring is possible.
Vauxhall Meriva (2010) revealed
Tue, 05 Jan 2010Vauxhall/Opel have revealed the 2010 Meriva Back at the end of September we reported on the 2010 Vauxhall Meriva after our photographers had spied the new Vauxhall tramping round the Nurburgring. As we said, not exactly where you’d expect to find the mini-MPV, but good to see it being properly shaken down. We reckoned on a launch at Geneva before the 2010 Meriva goes on sale in the Summer, and the reveal by Vauxhall/Opel today confirms all that.
'Top Gear' caught testing McLaren P1
Wed, 16 Oct 2013The “Top Gear” boys were hanging in Belgium this week, shooting for the 21st season of the British television show. Some time next season we'll see the guys test this McLaren P1, caught by an observant YouTube poster. The video starts with the crew ogling the P1 supercar in the garage at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, before the camera car, a matte black Mercedes SUV, and the McLaren hit the track.
