This auction is for a used Pitman
Arm from a 1978 Ford 4 wheel drive power steering gear box. The Pitman
arm is in excellent condition and has been bead blasted and painted with
black enamel to restore it to a like new condition. The splines are
good and the tapered hole is not damaged or worn and should work just
like a new one. The Pitman Arm can be installed at 90 degree increments
in case you need this for your application. Applications for the
Pitman arm are 1978 & 1979 F100, F150 and Bronco 4 X 4 pick up
trucks with power steering. These pitman arms are sometimes used to
upgrade earlier F100 and F150 4 X 4 pickups to the better 78/79 model
steering set up that improved steering and is more resistant to front

Horror crash drivers offered training course
Tue, 21 Jan 2014POLICE who found enough evidence to prosecute 32 motorists following a 150-car pile-up have offered to send them on a driver alertness course instead. A senior police officer said handing the drivers a chance to go on the course would be more beneficial than putting them before the courts. The decision to spare drivers prosecution follows a four-month investigation by specialist collision investigators and case review staff from Kent Police.
