This is a remanufactured conversion style rear driveshaft. The constant velocity  joints have been replaced with conventional style u joints. Driveshaft measures 30 1/4" Face of Flange to Face of Flange in the collapsed position. Balanced as an assembly. No core required. 90 day warranty. Many sold with no problems. Ford Motor Co. said it boosted prices an average of $117, or 0.4 percent, on 2011 models effective Friday, April 1. The increase is because of “higher commodity costs,” George Pipas, Ford's chief sales analyst, said Monday.

Federal regulators, moving to curb distracted driving, issued final voluntary safety guidelines today that would disable certain in-vehicle functions such as manual texting, Web browsing and video phoning while driving. Automakers should do more to keep drivers' eyes on the road and hands on the wheel, U.S. auto regulators said as they released the latest guidelines meant to cut down on crashes caused by the use of electronic devices in cars.
