Ford E-Series Vans- “Baja Grocery Getter”

Are you looking to lift your Ford Econoline Van to run bigger tires?, Tired of the boring factory appearance? not to mention improve driving performance?  Your search is over…… ,

Our Ford E-Series suspension lifts are the ultimate performance suspension upgrade kits available for your Econoline van. This 6″ stage 2 “Baja Grocery Getter” is going to make your van a blast to drive. We use bent I-beams on all of our kits that do not upset the RSC control in newer model vans. Our custom fabricated radius arms and brackets are designed for strength and function utilizing factory bushings.  Coupled with Bilstein shocks to handle those bumps and dips. With custom options we can build you a lift that suits your driving and needs.

The major difference in the Baja Grocery Getter lift is the extended radius arms which are necessary for the 6″ lift. The stage 2 lift allows you to run up to 285 tire with 6″ coils. Our custom radius arms have caster built into the radius arms to optimize on and off road stability. This kit gives you 10” of front wheel travel.

Subaru BRZ Turbo to get 280bhp

Mon, 22 Oct 2012

The much hoped for Subaru BRZ Turbo – the Subaru version of the Toyota GT86 – is set to arrive in 2014 with 280bhp. Last year we reported that a Subaru BRZ Turbo was in the planning (even though the official line was that the BRZ and GT86 would stick with natural aspiration) and now it looks like development is well advanced and the BRZ Turbo will arrive in 2014. Automotive News are reporting that Subaru are working hard on a turbocharged direct injection version of the BRZ with a single twin-scroll turbo they’ve developed in-house, as opposed to the port injection system currently used in the BTZ, which is a Toyota system.

Californian Bruce Meyer is really into collecting cars, particularly hot rods. But Meyer is not content to just let his cars sit--he wants to drive. One of his latest efforts was taking a modified 1932 Ford roadster to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah in a bid to break the 200-mph mark.
