Some
Ford models were transponder equipped. Some it was an option and some
it was standard equipment. If you have the transponder version - you
will need to have the lock "Coded" to your existing key for the vehicle
to start up. We can do that here if you provide the "keycode" to your
vehicle at no extra charge (except for shipping back to us if you have
already received it) OR you can take it to your local Locksmith to have
this done. They will charge you for this service, it's not free, but it
usually does not cost a lot.

We have to confess we moaned about a few details on the F-Type when it arrived, and about the price. But we soon realised that, rather than being a pricey alternative to a Porsche Boxster, the new Jaguar F-Type was actually a real alternative to the Aston Martin Vantage – turning it in to something of a bargain offering.
Porsche Macan to debut at Los Angeles – gets V6 turbo petrol
Sat, 28 Sep 2013The dealer presentation for the new Porsche Macan The Porsche Macan – Porsche’s take on a smaller version of the Cayenne to tap in to the more compact SUV market – will arrive at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November and get V6 turbo power. Jalopnik has managed to get photos of a dealer presentation of the Porsche Macan which confirms its arrival at Los Angeles and also gives us some detail of what will power the new smaller Porsche SUV. We’re not entirley sure the photo Porsche used in the presentation is the actual Macan (Jalopnik think Porsche has used a render by Auti Bild to muddy the waters for their dealers – just in case the presentation leaks) but it does seem clear that Porsche, at l;east initially, aims to provide the Macan with decent levels of Porsche power.

Mon, 29 Aug 2011Peugeot HX1 Concept – a low-slung MPV Don’t look at the Peugeot HX1 Concept and think you’ll be walking in to your local Peugeot showroom next year and driving off in one, because you won’t. The HX1 is a showcase for where Peugeot sees the brand going in terms of “…architecture, aerodynamics, modularity, equipment, interior materials, the environment and powerplants.” Just like so many concepts from Peugeot of late – the funky HR1 Concept and the almost Aston Martin-esque SR1 spring to mind – the HRX1 is a crackingly good-looking car. A bit like a Mercedes R-Class with a proper injection of Gallic style and flair.
