Up for auction today is a set of Ford 427 Medium Riser Cylinder Heads part number C5AE-F.

The have date codes of 5J1 AND 5J3 (September 1st & 3rd, 1965) so they are a matched set.

They appear to be in good condition with what appears to be plenty of material in the 'thumb prints', see pics.

Two combustion chambers show some minor damage, see pics.

These heads have the factory spring cups. The valve train is older and I would recommend it be replaced for your build.

I believe these would be correct for a 1966 Fairlane, Comet, Galaxie and Cobra.

I will charge actual shipping. eBay doesn't give me an option for shipping 2 boxes so I have to list it as a single heavy box. So if you need a shipping amount my zip is 98272 and the 2 boxes weigh 46lbs each and measure 23"x8"x7".

I also have a factory steel crank and a 68 side oiler block correct for Cougar GT-E with casting date 7H2 that I am listing.

Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid race car revealed

Porsche will bring its latest hybrid know-how to the racetrack in the form of the new 911 GT3 R Hybrid, revealed here for the first time prior to a planned public premiere at the Geneva auto show in early March. Developed by a team of engineers at Porsche's Weissach R&D center, Porsche plans for the stripped-out race car to act as a rolling laboratory. The German carmaker wants to explore the potential of hybrid drivetrains in a racing environment before an expected announcement that it will return to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in a factory capacity, perhaps in 2012, with a race car boasting technology based on that used in the 911 GT3 R Hybrid.
