One cylinder head is off for inspection. It will need a new cylinder head gasket.
Brand:Ford Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Warranty:No

I have a rebuilt Ford Flathead stroker motor for sale. This was built by a man in Detroit that supposedly specialized in Flathead motors. The man that had it built was said to have over $7500 dollars in this motor and parts. It has Edelbrock cylinder heads and tri power intake. It was built with a mercury 4' crank and rods and has what would be considered a 3/4 cam. The man that sold this removed a cylinder head for inspection. I have left it this way and it will need new head gaskets. This also comes with a Mallory front drive distributor, a C4 bell housing adapter, torque converter and flywheel. The buyer also gets a C4 trans that will need rebuilding and Three Stromberg carburetors that will also need rebuilding.  I would prefer not to ship as I don't want any discrepancies on what you are buying. I feel it's best for someone to inspect in person if possible. Ask questions and I will tell you what I know. I did not build this myself. Too many projects and I have been selling a lot of stuff. This is a really nice piece someone can use instead of it sitting collecting dust. Thanks for looking.  $200 deposit within 48 hours. Cash upon pickup.

Jet Age lands at Rodeo Drive Concours

Mon, 17 Jun 2013

Fins and aerodynamic stability -- the latter sometimes real, sometimes just for style -- dominated the 20th anniversary of the Rodeo Drive Concours in Beverly Hills Sunday. The era of magnificent tail fins was born from the sweet optimism of the 1950s, when “The Future” was just around the corner and we were all looking forward to piloting jet packs, being served by robots and living in futuristic domed cities on the moon. You could call it The Jet Age, and when businessjet timeshare company Flexjet offered to sponsor the Rodeo Drive Concours this year, it suddenly sounded like the perfect theme for the show.

Fiat launches new MultiAir engines

Mon, 09 Mar 2009

By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 09 March 2009 14:02 Fiat showed off the detail of its new MultiAir engines at the 2009 Geneva motor show – and we’ll finally be able to buy the tech on the new Alfa Romeo Mito supermini later in 2009. The brains behind the common-rail injection system that shook up diesel technology have now produced a new technology designed to make petrol engines more efficient and cleaner. Engineers claim the MultiAir engines – which use electrohydraulic actuation, rather than the more widely available electromechanical systems – boost power and torque, while cutting CO2 by between 10% and 25% and other pollutants by up to 60%.

Jensen to build new Interceptor in 2014

Tue, 20 Sep 2011

These are the first renderings of the all-new Jensen Interceptor, due in 2014. Not to be confused with the 'new' old Interceptor, you can still buy. Coventry automotive specialist CPP will build the new 2014 Jensen Interceptor at its West Midlands plant; it'll also engineer and develop the prototypes.
