Opel offers glimpse at futuristic Monza concept car

The Monza, a nameplate we haven't seen for a while, will preview Opels of the near future, showcasing technology and design rather than being a production-ready car. It seems like a long time since Hyundai revealed the new i30 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but it’s actually only six months; time enough to get the news out before the new i30 lands in showrooms, which it does in the UK from today. In many ways the new Hyundai i30 is the most convincing model yet from Hyundai’s increasingly confident offerings, and looks set to go head to head with VW and Ford for the hearts and minds of family car buyers in the UK.
Polestar boosts Volvo power with factory software upgrade
Tue, 08 Nov 2011Volvo and its performance arm Polestar have developed tuning software for C30, C70 and S40 cars fitted with the T5 turbocharged engine. It increases power by 23 hp and torque by 29 lb-ft by revising valve and spark timing. The software is compatible with 2008-model-year and newer cars and goes on sale on Nov.
