Collection #2 !  Up for your consideration is a Set of Original FORD Interior Chrome Door Handles (2) and Window Cranks (2), which were just removed from a 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 2-Door HardTop. They will also fit 1960, 1961 and 1962 Full size Ford cars and, probably other applications, as well.  These handles and cranks are in excellent condition with only surface scratches and imperfections, and the Black Bakelite handles on the window cranks are perfect. There are three tiny "flea bites" on the top of the circle base of one window crank and some scratches on the handle and a scuff on the circle base of the other. The door handles have minor surface imperfections and a little very faint pepper spray on the handle of one.  Otherwise, these handles and cranks are sparkling clean with beautiful luster to the chrome, and are in unusually nice condition for being over 50 years old !  Please note, the chrome reflects everything, so dark/colored areas on the pictures are from room reflections. Basically, these beautiful handles and window cranks are ready to install. NOTE: I have listed a matching set of Handles and Window Cranks, in case you need two sets for a 4-Door. Payment is expected within 48 hours of the end of the auction via Paypal.  We package carefully and ship quickly; USPS Tracking is part of our mailing process. Also, we will send you positive Feedback immediately on receiving yours. Thank you for your interest !

Ford B-Max

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

A production version of the Ford B-Max mini-MPV will make its debut at next month's Geneva motor show – one year after the concept was announced. The production B-Max stays true to the 2011 concept, with the same lack of a B-pillar between the conventional front and sliding rear doors, which creates a 1,500mm aperture. We'll be interested to learn how this affects both weight and rigidity as well as how much real-world advantage it offers.

Late-brakers are 'biggest irritation on the road'

Thu, 26 Sep 2013

DRIVERS WHO brake at the last minute and then turn without signalling are the most annoying on the road, according to a new poll. 2,000 people were surveyed by First Bus who then compiled the 50 most annoying motoring bugbears, with late brakers topping the chart. High parking charges also appeared in the top ten, as did dangerous behaviours such as tailgating, being cut up, drivers using mobile phones and motorcyclists weaving through traffic.
