Vintage, TCM 100 Ford valve tool kit By the TCM Automotive and industrial service equipment manufacturing company of Maywood Illinois. Comes in original, dovetailed, wooden box with leather carry handle and kit- specific literature. I have done nothing to restore or retouch box and parts since purchase, So, a Murphy's oil soap cleansing of the box followed by a coat of Formby's lemon oil wood impregnator most likely would have the box looking great. Most, but not all parts appear to be present (Please reference photographs.) This is a very rare piece of Ford-specific, automobile Americana. Ford aficionados, you will be hard pressed to find another. This will be a phenomenal display piece in a Ford-centric shop. I'm guessing it dates from the late 40s or early 50s.

Lexus sketches future compact for the Frankfurt motor show

The Chevy Volt was unveiled this week amid much hoopla at GM's centenary. 'I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a situation where we make money, particularly when you load all the costs in,' Fritz Henderson, GM’s chief operating officer, told Automotive News Europe, referring to the company’s first-generation technologies.

It moves away from the outgoing model in terms of form language, introducing a far more organic and car-like aesthetic. The 2013 model is almost 230kg lighter than its predecessor with a monocoque bodyshell that allowed Nissan designers to create a more aerodynamic exterior without losing headroom or trunk capacity.
