Volkswagen chief: No. 1 in the world by 2018

Volkswagen chairman Martin Winterkorn reaffirmed his company's ambitious and audacious goals on Wednesday night on the eve of the Paris motor show: pass Toyota and General Motors for the title of world's largest automaker in 2018. AUTHORITIES have arrested a California man they say stole the same Ferrari - twice. Earnie Hooks, of Los Angeles, was arrested last week behind the wheel of the 250,000 dollar (£155,000) car, the Riverside Press-Enterprise said. Court records said he has pleaded not guilty to car theft and resisting police.
