Frankland Quick Change Hot Rod Rear End 55" on 2040-parts.com

I have a Frankland Quick Change rear end for a hot rod or rat rod. It is huge! 55" overall width. 5 on 4 1/2" and 4 3/4" bolt pattern. I added new .188" wall axle tubes with new style ford big bearing axle ends. The axles are 31 spline ford, 1541 hardened steel. New bearings and studs. I have a set of brake backing plates (not pictured) if you want to run drums, or any of the popular disc setups can be used. Currently there is an aluminum spool in the rear end, but included is a Gold style Locker. The yoke accepts the GM 1310 style u-joint. I have new gaskets and seals for the rear end, they will need to be installed by you. No quick change gears are included, and I'm not sure of the ring and pinion ratio. It's either 4:11 or 4:86. This thing is not perfect, it served a few years in a dirt late model. The brackets I have on the unit were for a traverse spring. For the buy it now price, I'm going to take it apart and crate it. I'll ship it via Fastenal . If this is a problem for you to go and pick it up, communicate before you buy it. There are other options that will save you money. If you live close to Alexandria MN 56308, come and get it. It will save you some cash.

Having failed to secure accommodation near the centre of Geneva, I’d easily managed to get an apartment in the same block as my two forum blogger colleagues, Robbie (1977) and Mark (car4mh). I’d also, purely by chance, managed to get a flight that landed ten minutes before Robby’s flight into Geneva which meant that we could jointly figure out the best way to get the 35k/m from the Airport to Thannon Le Bain, over the border in France and split the cost if necessary.
Ford at CES 2011
Sun, 09 Jan 2011Ford has been the automotive darling of the Consumer Electronics Show for several years now. On Friday morning, Ford CEO Alan Mulally made a historic third keynote speech, during which he introduced the new Focus Electric and a host of new supporting technologies, which appear to keep Ford near the top of the technological pack.
