New bosses for Volvo and Ford of Europe

Geely Motors is buying Volvo from Ford and the two companies confirmed today what we all suspected: that Volvo CEO Stephen Odell will leave the top office in Gothenburg and head up Ford of Europe. Embattled Wagoner forced to quit as GM boss

Wagoner was meeting with US government officials on Friday when the request was made for him to ‘step aside’. Wagoner had been GM president and CEO since 2000, and chairman since 2003 – his resignation ends a 31-year career with a company.
