Wed, 02 Sep 2009Subaru has launched the Impreza Diesel in the UK The Impreza is a great car, and slotting in the 2.0-litre Boxer Diesel is a move designed to get the Impreza a whole new market, especially as it’s coming in at a round decent Golf money – a nice round £20,000 for the Impreza 2.0D RC. The 2.0 litre boxer diesel outputs 150bhp and 258lb/ft of torque, and can do 0-60 mph in 8.8 seconds and on to 127 mph. It does 47.1 mpg and emits 155g/km CO2.

Since the 40th show in 2007, the car world has changed economically, politically and technologically. Even the show itself has suffered a pitiful transformation, stripped to just the Japanese firms after the European and American car makers block voted with their feet and jilted the show to save cash.

But it didn’t work out like that. In fact, the 2013 Belgian Grand Prix turned in to a demonstration of the powers of Sebastian Vettel and his Red Bull, as the German wasted no time taking Hamilton in the very early stages before going on to control the race from the front, and take a resounding victory with his fifth win of the season.
