You can already get wi-fi from tens of thousands of places round the UK – and many of them free or bundled up with your mobile bill – and soon you’ll be able to have your own WLAN in your car if you rush out and get the new Audi A8. Audi are installing a WLAN system in the 2010 A8 which will effectively create a wi-fi hotspot within the car for passengers.

The competition is a biennial event run by the designers of the ANFIA Coachbuilders Group, who have set out to help discover new talent in the field of car design. The target of the initiative is to find and select new talents from all over the world, capable of interpreting and fostering the tradition of Italian automotive design.
