Luxury Ford Mondeo Vignale concept revealed

Would you buy a posh Mondeo? Ford is betting that some people will, as next year sees the Blue Oval introduce a new Vignale trim level and equipment package that offers not just more style and luxury for your money but also an exclusive, premium customer and ownership experience. As a precursor to this move, Ford has today unveiled a pair of Mondeo Vignale Concept cars, one based on the next-generation Mondeo saloon, the other on the estate.

Hyundai future products: New entries seek upscale niches

Hyundai will continue to enter new product segments, including upscale niches, while keeping lower-priced models fresh over the next three years. The Veloster sporty coupe will join the lineup this fall, and a turbocharged version comes next summer. A redesigned Azera sedan debuts in the final weeks of this year, and a two-door Elantra will go on sale next spring.

Pininfarina exhibit opens at the Museo dell’Automobile di Torino

The National Automobile Museum of Turin, Italy, has reopened its doors to welcome a bevy of Pininfarina models from past and present into its midst. The display takes on some of the milestone models of Pininfarina design and sees a wide selection of cars take up residence amidst the 200 others already on display at the recently renovated museum. Of the more desirable models being shown is a 1947 Cisitalia 202, the two seater berlinetta that has been described as 'moving sculpture' by Arthur Drexler, the highly influential curator and director at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
