Rinspeed XchangE concept previews cabin of self-driving cars

Ever wondered what you'll be doing in your car once cars become driverless? We'd probably just sit in the back seat and read the financial section of the paper (on some kind of transparent tablet computer, of course) to see how our Tesla shares are doing and make small talk about the weather with our imaginary chauffeur named James in a faux British accent, asking him to pass the Grey Poupon from time to time. But unlike us, coachbuilder Rinspeed is actually taking the yet-to-materialize issue seriously, and at the upcoming Geneva Auto Show it will debut its XchangE concept.

Lincoln is not forsaking the world of limos. That means if you're planning a wedding, bachelor party or even a birthday bash that requires a chauffeur, the MKT is in your future. Lincoln is winding down production of the venerable Town Car this year, and as expected, an MKT will replace it.

2013 Toyota Auris leaks

The next generation Toyota Auris (Toyota Corolla) is due to debut this year as a 2013 model, and we get the first leaked photo. We know that a replacement for the Toyota Auris is on the horizon and we’re expecting it to make a public debut (at least in Europe) at the Paris Motor Show in September before going on sale by the end of 2012. But now, thanks to a Japanese Magazine scan, we have a pretty good idea what Toyota’s new Auris/Corolla is going to look like, and it seems to be the current Auris with a dose of Lexus thrown in for good measure.
