Linda Vaughn recovering from heart surgery

Linda Vaughn, best known as the iconic Miss Hurst Golden Shifter, underwent heart surgery on April 28 to clear out blockage in her arteries. Prior to the operation, Vaughn said, "I am tired of feeling 'low speed.' " After surgery, her spirits are equally as high and she is recovering as expected.

Just for a change Webber was on pole, but that lasted all of a few yards as Vettel swept past his team mate on the first lap and stayed there until his second pit stop. Then it went a bit wrong.

The usual racing excuses were out in full, with Audi claiming that the cancellation of the traditional testing day this year meant they were unable to set up the R15 TDI properly in time for the race (Peugeot seemed to manage to get the 908s ready!).
