Description:

These G-FORCE GF105 driving pants are high-quality, entry-level suit pants for the budget-minded racer. However, budget does not mean cheap. They start with an FR cotton shell that is cool and comfortable to wear. All seams are sewn together with Nomex thread utilizing a five-needle safety stitch. This is an extra bit of protection in the event that the main seam fails in an incident. G-FORCE also combines a Nomex and brass zipper with a double overlay for extra protection and to help keep the heat out. These pants meet or exceed SFI 3.2A/1 specs. They have a TPP rating of approximately 11. All pants come in solid colors with a white leg stripe

2014 Kia Soul “Red Zone” takes it to the house

Kia Motors America announced its first special edition for the second generation 2014 Soul, dubbed “Red Zone.” This quirky, boxy compact car will get a head-to-toe makeover, taking inspiration and design cues from the 2012 Chicago Auto Show favorite, the Track'ster concept. The exterior of the Soul gets bright white paint, accented by pops of red. The grille, front and rear fascias and side skirts also will receive the distinguished red embellishments, adding to what Kia describes as “the aggressively styled body kit.” Custom 18-inch alloy wheels complete the “Red Zone” makeover.

Umeå Institute of Design Degree Show 2008

Masters students at Sweden's Umeå University Institute of Design exhibited their final projects in the annual Degree Exhibition in early June. This year 38 students exhibited their work, including 7 from MA Transportation Design, 5 from MA Advanced Product Design, 6 from MA Interaction Design and a further 20 from the BA Industrial Design course. The MA Transportation Design programme is led by Tony Catignani, with Nick Coughlan as external tutor.

Audi’s new Ultra range may look like the firm’s standard line-up of saloons, coupes and estates, but don’t be fooled. The German firm has performed some key tweaks to make its new 2014 A4, A5 and A6 Ultra models even more efficient. The new core range of ‘Ultra’ frugal Audis follows on from the firm’s high-efficiency debut model, the A3 1.6 TDI Ultra, which went on sale in autumn last year.
