Nissan GT-R beats the Germans - again!

Thu, 22 Jan 2009

By Gareth Evans Motoring Issues 22 January 2009 13:23 Prospective buyers of the Nissan GTR have another reason to brag over their German competitors thanks to the latest residual value figures released by CAP Monitor. After 12 months or 10,000 miles, independent used car valuation data provider CAP Monitor predicts the new GTR will be worth 84% of its new list price. This puts the latest Godzilla incarnation well ahead of rivals from Porsche, Audi and BMW.

Citroën C4 Picasso

Tue, 02 Apr 2013

The all-new Citroën C4 Picasso will come as no surprise to anyone who saw the Thechnospace concept at last month's Geneva motor show as it's essentially identical, bar some color and trim details. This five-seat, C-segment MPV/minivan is shorter than the car it replaces by 40mm at 4,430mm, meaning it's closer to the old Xsara Picasso in size. It is a little wider than the old C4 at 1,830mm and its wheelbase spans an extra 55mm at 2,785mm, which Citroën says means it boast more interior and luggage space than before.

Fiat Panda Aria and Grande Punto Abarth SS concepts

Mon, 17 Sep 2007

By Guy Bird Motor Shows 17 September 2007 02:50 Aria goes green, Abarth gets sporty, 500 goes large… Fiat’s signature white stand featured both ends of the car spectrum: From the eco Panda Aria concept to a new even sportier version of the Grande Punto, the Abarth SS prototype. It arguably had the best show stand gimmick at Frankfurt too – a giant Fiat 500 model the size of a two-storey building housing a monorail on which punters could ride life-size 500 cars around its innards – entered through the giant 500’s wheel arch. Anyway… what about this eco Panda thingy… Oh yes, the Fiat Aria ‘concept’ is subtle like that.
