Claire takes the BMW 1M Coupe up the Goodwood hillclimb Although the Goodwood Festival of Speed doesn’t actually start until tomorrow, today saw the second year of the Goodwood  Moving Motor Show kicking off a long weekend of petrolhead joy. The USP of the Goodwood MMS is the opportunity – for a lucky few – to take an interesting bit of kit up the Goodwood hillclimb. This year Claire had drawn the tickets for the day; tickets Volvo had kindly sent us (many thanks, guys) after they asked us to drive the hillclimb in a Polestar car.

Porsche on Friday released a new video showing the lineage and development of the latest 911. The three-minute clip provides a visual history lesson of all things Porsche, both on the road and on the track, as an evolving shell of its latest 911 displays iconic images and clips. Infiniti hybrid carries $54,575 sticker price

Infiniti has set a base price of $54,575, including shipping charges, on the 2012 M hybrid sedan. The luxury division of Nissan said the car will go on sale on March 16. The Infiniti M hybrid's powertrain mates a 302-hp, 3.5-liter V6 with a 67-hp electric motor.
