Sat, 30 Jun 2012The new Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake has finally been revealed before going on sale in November as a 2013 model. The 2013 Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake has been officially revealed by Mercedes-Benz, which is just as well as it’s on show at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend. Want to be a Racing Driver? Fiat’s Abarth could have the answer
Thu, 13 Jun 2013Win the chance to be a racing driver with Abarth It’s every boy’s dream to be a racing driver and get behind the wheel of a race car for real, and Abarth - the go-faster bit of Fiat – may just be able to give you a leg-up in the right direction. Abarth are running a competition to find new racing drivers, with the winners of the competition being taken off to a 10-day camp to be assessed by motorsport coaches and helped by race car instructors. If you want to take part you’ll need to be over 18, not a professional driver already and willing to jump through a few hoops to get the chance to win a place at camp, and ultimately take part in a proper race at Monza.
McLaren P12 hypercar confirmed for Paris debut
Thu, 06 Sep 2012McLaren has confirmed its new flagship model, code-named P12, will make its world debut at the Paris motor show, the first time the company has attended an auto show in its recent history. The announcement was accompanied by a teaser image of the car that appears to feature an unusually low scuttle height and a glass canopy. First impressions suggest it may offer some respite from the current crop of rather uneventful-looking supercars.
