This auction is for a Gear Vendors Over/Under Drive 2 speed Transmission unit. Comes with the unit and housing pictured above as well as wiring and switches. Belonged to my late father in law who bought it to put in his Cummins Dodge. He told me when he bought it that is was on a guy's truck when he looked at it. Therefore, I assume it works as it should but I can't guarantee it. I also cannot guarantee that every little part is present either basically because I don't have a parts list. I'd just like to be upfront on that. My father in law delivered campers all over the country and had 985,000 miles on his Dodge when he died. I plan to restore his truck but will never use it enough to justify installing this unit. His truck was a 1995 but he was running a six speed out of a newer truck so I think he planned to use this one with the NV5600 tranny. If you look on Gear Vendors' website this appears to be their Part # 3D5600C. They sell it new for $3,695 +Shipping. I'll try to answer any questions you may have but my knowledge is somewhat limited on these. Thanks for your interest.

2013 Subaru Forester revealed

Thu, 01 Nov 2012

The new Subaru Forester – a 2014 Forester for the US – has been revealed ahead of a debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show this month. The Forester still looks like a Forester although it is a bit longer, wider and taller and gets a longer wheelbase which, say Subaru, means more space in the back seats and more room ion the boot. There are cosmetic tweaks with a crease running down the flanks under the window line, a new grill and bumpers, new alloys and a more slick feel to the looks. There’s extra toys too with a new Infotainment centre with smartphone integration, SatNav with reversing camera and a nice upmarket Harmon Kardon sound system.

Google Glass driver cleared by court

Mon, 20 Jan 2014

A WOMAN WHO WAS ARRESTED for driving while wearing Google's new computer-in-glasses device has been cleared of wrongdoing by a court in California. The San Diego traffic court threw out a citation against Cecilia Abadie, with commissioner John Blair ruling she was not guilty because the offence for which was ticketed requires proof that the device was in use. Mr Blair found there was no proof beyond a reasonable doubt.

Honda P-NUT Concept at LA

Thu, 03 Dec 2009

The Honda P-NUT at the LA Motor Show This is another of those ‘Lets see what we can make’ type concepts with probably precious little chance of being made. But the Honda ‘Personal-Neo Urban Transport’ – or Honda P-NUT – does make for an interesting micro city car concept. The P-NUT is a three-seat (which sounds great in principle, but all 3-seat cars – McLaren F1 included – are a pain for the driver to get in and out) concept with masses of angular lines and glass, designed to be offered with one of three powertrains – a petrol, petrol-electric hybrid or pure EV.
