Interior Motives magazine hosted its fourth annual design conference at the Santo Stefano Hotel in Turin, Italy - the official World Design Capital 2008 - from June 17 to 19 this year. A melting pot for innovative ideas, the conference featured enlightening presentations from some of the world's leading designers, all revolving around the theme 'Intelligent Design for Tomorrow's World'. The 2010 Audi A8 will not have the W12 or the S8's V10 Update 1/12/2009: It looks like Audi has had a change of heart and has now confirmed plans for an S8 for 2011. Update 16/04/2010: And to completely trash this article, we now have confirmation that the 2011 Audi A8 L will come complete with W12. Oh, well.

Road Safety Charity Says Casualties Increase In 20mph Zones

IN A potential blow to the current thinking by road safety campaigners, the number of serious accidents on 20mph roads increased by over a quarter (26 per cent) last year. That’s according to analysis of government data by road safety charity, Institute of Advanced Motorists. Slight accidents on 20mph roads increased by 17 per cent.However, in the same year, there was a decrease in the number of serious and slight accidents on 30mph roads and 40 mph roads.
