This is the new C7-generation Chevrolet Corvette. It's the fist 'Vette to wear the classic Stingray badge for three-and-a-half decades, but not much else is retro about the new coupe. The GC7's upward-curved headlamps run out of the corners of the large center grille, while the side of the car has a strong feature line that runs down the whole body, serving to visually extend the car in side profile. The rear is again wholy conventional but appears neatly resolved.

Influential Ferrari expert Gerald Lee Roush, the founding editor and publisher of the Ferrari Market Letter, died on May 21 after complications from a heart attack. He was 68. Born in Durango, Colo., Roush started his publication while teaching history at Abraham Baldwin College, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
