MG TF – finally built at Longbridge. Plus mystery MG
Mon, 02 Jun 2008By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 02 June 2008 12:18 After a series of twists, turns, delays and wildly ambitious claims more akin to a Miss Marple whodunnit, MG has finally built its first TFs at the Longbridge plant in the West Midlands. We've seen the first TF LE500 models at Longbridge and we hear they will be in dealers soon, priced at around £16,000. What's changed since the last 2005 cars? But it’s a successful formula that started with the first generation X5 (E53) in 1999.
British Motor Show Axed
Thu, 19 Mar 2009The British Motor Show - Cancelled for 2010, and probably permanently Well, I suppose it’s not really a great surprise, but it’s still sad to see the demise of the British Motor Show. The SMMT (organisers of the British Motor Show) announced this lunchtime that the 2010 show has been cancelled. They stated that this was due to the crisis in the car industry at present and the ongoing world financial crisis.
