Girling Brake Calipers, Type Br, Very Rare, New on 2040-parts.com

A pair of very rare Girling BR brake calipers. These are not to be confused with the much smaller AR and NR calipers. These have never been used. I purchased them in the UK in the early 1980s and have stored them in my shop. I will sell them out right, but I would prefer to trade them for a pair of and are and AR calipers.( 4 calipers). The mounting holes are 3.5 in apart.

The M550d xDrive is the so-called ‘Triple-Turbo’ diesel engine we’ve been expecting from BMW for the last couple of years. With 380bhp and a mountain of torque – 520lb/ft or more – we’d expected BMW to fit the engine to the X5 and X6 to create a diesel version of the M cars.
