AD230 Delco Delphi 105 amp. Most popular as standard equipment on trucks, vans and SUV’s near the years 2000-2002. Also on same vehicles may be higher amp (130a) version with thicker metal (approx 1″) between 2 aluminum halves. Both high amp and low amp take the same kit. All have same 4 pin plug. Typical failure behavior is BAT light on-off inadvertently but voltages seem to be normal, or volt meter indicates erratic, short periods of no charge. These symptoms usually occur after 100K miles. GM and Chrysler in merger talks

Reports in the New York Times and Wall Street Journal say the talks have been underway since the start of October 2008, and sources close to the possible deal put its chances of success at ’50-50’. All three US car makers have seen their sales decimated in recent months and have been forced to deny that they might seek bankruptcy protection.
UAW: GM, Chrysler may not need additional federal funds
Tue, 06 Jan 2009UAW President Ron Gettelfinger said today that General Motors and Chrysler LLC may not need additional federal loans beyond the $17.4 billion approved by the White House. "If we can get by without more money, that's what we want to do," Gettelfinger told Automotive News in an interview at Solidarity House in Detroit. He said how well the money holds out will depend on sales volume this year.
Full-scale model of 5th Peugeot Design Competition winner revealed in Shanghai
Wed, 22 Apr 2009A life-sized model of Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar's RD concept, for which the 26 year old Columbian designer won the 5th Peugeot Design competition, is on display at the Peugeot stand in Shanghai. The 'RD' concept was chosen via an online internet poll and a competition jury headed by Peugeot's Managing Director, Jean Philippe Collin in September last year. The theme for the 2008 competition was 'Imagine the Peugeot in the worldwide megapolis of tomorrow'.
