AIR CONDITIONING INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Dated 1970 In FULL COLOR

This is the book that covers it all! Unless you already own this book (which I doubt), because it only went to GM Training Schools or GM Dealerships from 1962 to 1969, this is the most complete air conditioning manual you might see from General Motors. It literally covers all A/C topics from A-Z! The 2nd photo lists to 4 sections with a total of 43 pages! In lieu of having this done in black and white, it has been produced in color because many of the illustration show blue (cold) and red (hot) scenarios so there is a small bit of 40 year old “patina”…but read my feedbacks on this and other rare books I offer. NO DISAPOINTMENTS!

SOME TOPIC INCLUDES:

Ø  R-12 Refrigerant

Ø  Refrigeration Cycle

Ø  Operation, diagnosis & service

Ø  Evaporators, Suction Throttling Valves

Ø  Ambient Compressor Switches

Ø  Compressors, Condensers

Ø  Receivers-Dehydrators

Ø  Refrigerant Oil

Ø  Automatic Climate Control (Comfortron)

Ø  How-To’s and much more……

This is a professional reprint from a virgin and never opened booklet dated 1970. The photos and illustrations are perfect and so is all the print. There are minor lines where holed punched, but you’d have minor lines too if you have been sitting in an envelope for the last 38 years!!!

This is part of a large stash of late 50’s, 60’s & 70’s parts that were owned by a gentleman who was, for 45+ years a Senior GM School Instructor at GM South Jersey Facility. He squirreled away loads of NOS parts I’m going thru case by case and listing them here as I find them.

Concept Car of the Week: Vauxhall VX Lightning

Fri, 16 Nov 2012

Both Ford and Vauxhall celebrated their 100-year anniversaries in 2003, but despite much of the attention being focused on the American giant, GM's UK subsidiary unveiling its own birthday present: the VX Lightning. Revealed at the Dorchester Hotel in London in May, the Vauxhall Lightning concept was a joint project between the GM North America (GMNA) Advanced Design Studio in England and the Opel/Vauxhall Design Center in Rüsslesheim, Germany. The Vauxhall ‘V' brand motif is a recurring theme throughout the car, despite the company's relative lack of global recognition.

VW Space Up concept

Wed, 24 Oct 2007

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 24 October 2007 10:30 Up, up, and away… Yes, the Volkswagen Up is back. The Tokyo Motor Show today saw VW unveil a second iteration of their new small family car – a third model will be shown at the LA Auto Show in November 2007. Called the Space Up!, the rear-engined car is a stretched version of the three-door we saw at the Frankfurt Motor Show earlier in the year.

Peugeot 207 GTI

Thu, 11 Jan 2007

By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 11 January 2007 01:35 Peugeot's online webzine has accidentally let slip two images of the new 207 GTI, spilling important details of its new hot hatch two months ahead of its launch. The 206 GTI never recaptured the fizz that made its 205 predecessor one of the iconic pocket rockets, but Peugeot hopes to fix that this time round. For a start, the 206 gets the same turbocharged 175bhp 1.6 as in the Mini Cooper S; Peugeot-Citroen PSA collaborated with BMW, which builds the four-cylinder engines at its Hams Hall plant in the Midlands, UK.
