The GMAHSC is a plug and play interface that allows the installation of a non-navigation aftermarket radio in select Cadillac CTS and SRX vehicles. It will maintain operation of the OnStar® and factory amplified systems. The GMAHSC has on board switching to allow audio from the OnStar® system to play through the two front factory speakers when OnStar® is active. It also retains both warning chimes for Onstar® operation and retains Vehicle Parking Assist chimes. For additional vehicle integration, use Peripheral’s line of PESWI steering wheel controls (SWC) interfaces to retain SWC’s with the aftermarket radio.

New Peugeot 108 set for 2014 Geneva Motor Show debut
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Peugeot is on a bit of a roll right now. The Peugeot 208 is a consistent top ten seller in the UK, and the all-new 308 is a highly credible alternative to the Volkswagen Golf. And now - or rather, next month at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show – there’s the new Peugeot 108 city car.
Jaguar Land Rover SVO Pebble Beach debuts – Range Rover Sport SVR, Jaguar F-Type Project 7 & ‘new’ Lightweight E-Type
Mon, 04 Aug 2014Jaguar Land Rover SVO Pebble Beach debuts include the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 Jaguar Land Rover’s new Special Operations Division may only just have come in to being, but that’s not stopping them delivering three cars for their North American debut at the Pebble Beach Event later this month. First of the SVO cars on show will be the new Range Rover Sport SVR, Land Rover’s most extreme performance car to date, which has just run the Nurburgring in a record time for an SUV (although we’re not sure many buyers will really care) and which should find a ready market in the US. Second of the SVO cars is the new Jaguar F-Type Project 7, which with its open-topped default mode will doubtless have American buyers from the sunny states opening their cheque books on sight.
Mercedes A, B & CLA-Class get more frugal engines & new 4MATIC 4WD options
Mon, 10 Feb 2014The Mercedes A,B & CLA-Class get more frugal and get new 4MATIC options The new Mercedes A-Class, B-Class and CLA-Class may not have been with us very long, but that’s not stopping Mercedes playing with what’s on offer with more frugal engines being launched and the option of 4MATIC 4WD being extended to the Mercedes A 200 CDI and 220 CDI. With an official fuel consumption of 54mpg and emissions of 125g/km, the latest Mercedes CLA 250 manages to improve emissions and economy figures by 7 per cent using a lean-burn process, without affecting performance. The Mercedes A 200 CDI gets a bigger engine – up from 1.8 to 2.2 litres – and 136hp and 221lb/ft of torque and, with the 7Speed DCT ‘box fitted, manages official consumption of 72mpg and emissions of 102g/km – 7g/km less than the old 1.8 litre A 200 CDI.
