Original front nose emblem off of a late 40's-early 50's era GMC COE. This the flat emblem for the frt of the COE hood, not a curved emblem from a regular truck. There are no cracks, chips, or breaks in this piece. The original mounting hardware is still there. This piece will restore and refinish nicely or use as is for a rat rod. Rare, original piece selling as is.

48 STATES ONLY
I only sell and ship in the 48 states. I only sell to buyers with a US address AND a US bank acct. Just because you can use your buddies address in the 48 states, that does NOT fix the problem with extra fees for exchange rates and non-verified paypal payments from foreign accts. Almost all of the Neg. FBs I have recieved over the last few years have come from these situations where buyers are trying to "bend" the rules, so I have been forced to sell only to buyer in the 48 states.
MY BUSINESS STRUCTURE
I have been buying and selling classic and special interest cars and parts for 25 years. I have hundreds of cars and trucks in stock. Only a fraction of my inventory ever ends up on e-bay. I get dozens of phone calls and e-mails for parts every week. E-mails must be specific about the part and vehicle as well as exactly what you want to know. I don't have time to answer questions that are not clear and I can't guess what you are trying to ask or what kind of car you have. I do a lot of volume and I have my own shipping accts. I do not ship through e-bay. You will need to e-mail me directly with any shipping questions.
PAYMENT
I do accept paypal for payment, but I will not accept payments that are e-checks or have un-confirmed shipping addresses or non-verified payments. Any payments that are flagged with any of these issues, will be cancelled. This is due to the way paypals system works. I do accept other forms of payment, contact me for details.
SHIPPING
My normal shipping day is Friday every week. With the exception of Holidays, I almost always ship on Fridays. Anything paid for by Thurs. night will be processed for Fridays shipment. Anything paid for after Thurs. night will not ship until the following Friday. Standard shipping takes 8-10 WORKING days. SHIPPING COSTS HAVE BEEN ESCALATING WITH ALL CARRIERS DUE TO FUEL COSTS!!!!!!!! Shipping costs also cover packing materials, time, etc. ALSO, E-bay is now charging me for shipping costs besides the auction fees.
FREIGHT SHIPPING
Large items such as fenders, doors, hoods, etc. will usually need to be shipped UPS oversized or by truck lines. Some items are better shipping oversized UPS, some have to go tuck lines. There is no way to determine the actual shipping costs until the part is packaged. Items that will go oversized UPS can be delivered to residential addresses and will usually ship for $100.00-$150.00. Items that are too large for UPS oversized, will have to go UPS freight. Freight does require a commercial business address for the best rates. Addresses are checked using Google maps. Only addresses located in accessible business districts are considered commercial, the garage behind your house is not. There are additional charges for residential deliveries. Freight shipping will typically run between $100.00-$200.00 in the 48 states. I am in central KS, so shipments in the middle of the country will typically be on the lower end of that and shipments to the cost are higher. Residential charges are on top of the shipping cost. Interested buyers need to take this into consideration when bidding. There is no possible way to determine exact shipping until something is packaged and I don't have time to package parts that are not sold. If oversized or freight shipping is going to be too high, then you should not bid on that part. I do not have Greyhound here.
VEHICLES AND CABS
Buyers have 60 days of free outside storage at the buyers risk. After 60 days, a storage fee will apply. If storage fees exceed the purchase price, the vehicle/cab ownership will return to me. Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. I do have names and number of transporters that have been here before that I can forward on to interested buyers.

Toyota A-BAT concept (2008): first official pictures
Tue, 15 Jan 2008By Guy Bird First Official Pictures 15 January 2008 13:39 Toyota’s latest Detroit concept flips on its head the current orthodoxy that pick-ups can’t be green. The A-BAT is a compact pick-up, akin to a RAV4 in size, featuring a four-cylinder petrol/electric hybrid and solar panels built into the top of the dashboard efficient enough to power the sat-nav and other interior tools. The much-vaunted Prius was indeed an influence in the A-BAT’s green-tinged exterior design leanings.
U.S. sales, aided by General Motors, show some real spark in October
Wed, 04 Nov 2009U.S. light-vehicle sales--bolstered by General Motor Co.'s first gain in 21 months--declined less than 1 percent in October as the industry showed signs of a recovery without the aid of government incentives. The drop was the smallest this year and made October the year's strongest month aside from August, which received a lift from the federal cash-for-clunkers program.
Ford's young driver training proves a hit
Thu, 17 Oct 2013FORD'S new young driver training programme, dubbed Ford Driving Skills for Life, has proved an instant hit with the first two sessions being substantially oversubscribed. Over 500 applications were made for the 300 free places available at Excel in London and the Trafford Centre in Manchester, and the participants aged between 17 and 24 received tips and guidance in the controlled environment of a purpose-built track. Manchester University student, Ryan Harrison, who took part in the free driver training, said: “I’ve learned so much today, especially in the skid car, learning what I’ve done wrong in the past without realising it and where to put my hands on the wheel.
