Paris Motor Show 2006 - Preview

The 2006 Paris Mondial de L'Automobile opens its doors with the media preview days starting September 28th and features a wealth of new concept and production cars. The first major motorsports event of the year, the 2012 Dakar Rally, began its two-week trek across South America on Jan. 1. Four hundred and sixty-five vehicles (171 cars, 185 motorcycles, 33 quads and 76 trucks) with drivers representing 50 nationalities will attempt to cover 9,000 kilometers (more than 5,500 miles) over 14 days throughout Argentina, Chile, and Peru.

The Eterniti Hemera first showed itself at the Frankfurt Motor Show this year after a raft of enigmatic teases about a new luxury car brand. And when it turned up it looked just like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo on which it’s based, albeit with some Gemballa-esque mods.
