Offered is a Good Holley List 80457, 600 CFM 4 barrel Carburetor, which was an aftermarket replacement for many squarebore GM, American Motors and Mopar, factory 4 Barrel carbs on 60's muscle cars. It's offered as a very good rebuilder.
This carb sat for a long time, the gaskets are dried. It will definitely need a quick soak and a kit. What's here is in very good condition, it's just missing the electric choke assembly..... No secrets or surprises here, I have disassembled the carb to show the condition of the insides of the fuel bowls and the metering block/plate. A tiny amount of residue was present in the secondary fuel bowl and it cleaned right up. The mounting screws for the metering block came right out, which indicates that even though this carb sat for a long time it's not frozen with contamination from water condensation or fuel. The only rust evident was on the throttle valves, which open and close easily. The idle mixture screws turn freely. Comments or questions are welcomed. FREE SHIPPING in the Continental United States. GM to reprogram some oil-life monitors
Fri, 05 Apr 2013This story originally appeared on Automotive News General Motors is warning owners of almost 800,000 2010-12 vehicles that they may need oil changes more frequently than the onboard oil monitoring systems are telling them. After high warranty claims on several models with four-cylinder engines, GM will reprogram software to make oil change warning lights go on sooner. The change only affects 2010-2012 Chevrolet Equinox, GMC Terrain and Buick LaCrosse and Regal models with 2.4-liter LAF and LEA four-cylinder engines.
