For sale is a Garmin GNS530W. This was
installed in my airplane in 2003 before I owned the airplane. After I
got the airplane, I upgraded it to WAAS, and had a new face plate
installed. That was February of 2013. It was removed from my airplane
last week, when I upgraded to an Avidyne 540. When this was removed, it
was working fine, but I had it tested by the avionics shop, upgraded to
the latest software, (v 5.3) and certified and yellow tagged. Included
is the unit, the Garmin tray, a new install kit, the quick reference
manual, a Pilot Workshops manual that is easier to understand than the
factory manual, and a Skybound adapter to get the Jeppesen maps. This
unit has terrain guidance that is visual, not audible. The face looks
perfect, as it is not very old.

Peugeot 308 (2014) first pictures of Peugeot's new Focus-fighter
Mon, 13 May 2013This is Peugeot's all-new family hatchback: the 308. Yep, that's right: Peugeot isn't rolling over to the '309' moniker, but don't be fooled: the new 308's design looks worlds apart from the off-the-pace outgoing car. Sticking with the same model names for all future cars will simplify the range for consumers, reckons Peugeot: it's a demonstration of the fightback to rebuild the brand's image (think Ford ditching the 'Escort' badge and sticking with 'Focus' instead). The new 308 is 140kg lighter than before, more economical and gets a totally rethought cabin.
Hyundai Curb: Hyundai’s Juke at Detroit
Tue, 11 Jan 2011The Hyundai Curb gets revealed at Detroit As we know, Hyundai has been taking the fight to the Japanese in a big way in recent years. Their cars have become more credible; better built, more contemporary and better designed. But you could argue they’ve played it safe.
Volkswagen T-ROC SUV Concept points to a Nissan Juke competitor
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Volkswagen T-ROC SUV Concept (pictured) heading for Geneva Volkswagen are aiming to expand their lineup of SUVs from the current Tiguan and Touareg to include more options in size and ability to tap in to the growing compact SUV market, and having already previewed the Up!-based Taigun we now get a new VW compact SUV concept aiming to fit in between the Taigun and Tiguan – the Volkswagen T-ROC SUV Concept. Heading for a debut at the Geneva Motor Show next week – and revealed today in a series of design sketches (above) – the T-Roc is a two-door, four-wheel-drive compact SUV with a two-pieced Targa roof. In terms of styling, the T-Toc gets VW’s idea of and evolution of its, rather bland, SUV styling with a new grill providing a more original front end (which has echoes of the Nissan Juke but can be referenced by the Karmann Ghia), a coupe look and that removable Targa roof.
