Up for sale is the great running motor from a bone stock a 2003 CRF230F. This may fit other years, and other models, but its up to you do determine and confirm fitment and interchange(some parts from the crf150f interchange, but the CRF230 L to the best of my knowledge is completely different). I rode this bike a few times before I parted it out, and it ran great. I was saving this motor to swap into my crf150f race pit bike, but I sold the bike before I ever got around to doing that... This will bolt right into the kickstart 150f models(and probably the electric start 150 models too if I had to guess) just by switching to the 230f head stay motor mounts, which Im including. This bike ran great, and I bought it from an entry level trail rider, so it was not abused. This bike came from southern OK, so thats why its got some of that red dirt/sand staining on it, I just didnt spend the time to clean it up yet. All of the threads and splines are in good shape. The sprocket cover had already been repainted and the paint was in bad shape, so I gave it a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't look very good. The starter motor is included. I DRAINED MOST OF THE OIL OUT OF THIS FOR SHIPPING!!! DO NOT FORGET TO ADD OIL BEFORE RUNNING IT. Sold exactly as pictured and as-is, with no warranty.

Make sure and check out my other listings for more 150f/230f parts. If your interested in a few parts contact me, and Ill make you a package deal to save you a bit of money. Also check out my "SmallTownSpeed" shirts, because I can add one to any order with zero additional shipping costs.

For the shipping on this I wrapped the motor with an old blanket, then shrink wrapped it. I got a pretty stout box, lined it with rigid foam insulation board, set the motor in, and filled the voids with 3 cans of expanding insulation foam. The result is a securely packaged motor that is just about USPS and bomb proof. You will have to spend some time cutting the box away and breaking the foam off from around the motor; but this is by far the best way I have found to ship small engines. This takes me a lot of time and cost of materials, which I dont charge you for; but these are one of the few items I charge a restocking fee on returns for on as a result of that. I ALSO OFFER FREE LOCAL PICKUP, and am happy to work with you on other shipping options to save you money when possible(maybe DHL, or if you have a UPS account that gives you a big discount or something along those lines), and CALL ME at 972-989-4003 if you have any questions(anytime between 9am-11pm central time)

I'm a full time Firefighter/paramedic, and an avid motorcycle rider. I part out bikes to help offset what I spend building, riding, and racing them. With that said, I'm not a shop, and this is not my main job. I will do everything in my power to ship parts out ASAP, and 95% of the time I get them out within 1 business day of when they are paid for, but because my work schedule(where I work 24hr shifts, and sometimes work 48 and 72hr shifts), and my riding, there may be rare occasions that it may take longer than 24hrs before I get it shipped out. If you are in a rush to get the part, please contact me, and I will do everything I can get it out fast(and if you contact me, I can make special arrangements, and 99% of the time can get it sent out the same day). But if you are somebody who expects everything to be shipped instantly "come hell or high water", please find another seller who will better fit your needs, because I may very well be busy dealing with hell or high water, or just unwinding and riding my motorcycles. And the latter should be easy enough to relate to, right? I ALSO SELL PARTS ON FORUMS and LOCALLY, so I reserve the right to END AUCTIONS EARLY. I'm happy to combine shipping when practical, and I'm also happy to make package deals if there are several parts you need. Email is the best way to contact me, but I'm happy to give you a call, or give you my personal cell number if you would rather call me.

UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED, ALL OF THE PARTS I'M SELLING ARE USED. I guarantee them to fit the bike I took them off of; and any other years on models mentioned are to help people find parts that may work for them, not a guarantee of fitment. I pride myself in good customer service, accurate descriptions, and low prices. There is no feasible way for me to list or confirm every possible fitment while keeping my prices low. If you're not sure, check with your local dealer, or compare part numbers at an online oem supplier like motosport. BUT I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT EVERY PART I SELL IS SOLD EXACTLY AS PICTURED AND AS-IS. It is also possible that over the life of the bike that I'm parting out, that parts were changed to something other than what was put on at the assembly line. So, where am I going with all of this? I wont stick anybody with parts they don't want or can't use. I accept returns, and my great feedback speaks for itself; seriously, read through some of it.... I treat other riders(that's you) how I would want to be treated; but I ask that you do the same for me in two ways. 1- having realistic expectations when your buying used parts. 2- if something is not right; let me know and give me a chance to make it right for you before opening a dispute or leaving feedback. I've never had anybody who has contacted me with an issue not end up completely satisfied. I aim for 5 star service 100% of the time. If I'm not achieving that, please let me know how I can improve.

Thanks!

GM unveils electric Cadillac Converj concept at the Detroit auto show

Sun, 11 Jan 2009

General Motors pulled perhaps a surprise at the Detroit Auto Show Sunday morning, unveiling an eye-catching two-door Cadillac concept powered by a "future evolution" of the Chevrolet Volt's electric powertrain. Called the Converj, the Cadillac will have a range of 40 miles on electricity, with a potential total range of 700 miles after a generator kicks in. GM says the powertrain, formerly known as E-Flex, is now called Voltec, and could be used in a variety of applications.

‘Stunning’ Sports car concept teased by Kia It may be almost Christmas, but car makers are looking a bit further ahead than that with the current crop of teases and expectations for the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January. Today’s offering comes from Kia, with the first teaser photo of a new concept heading for Detroit. Kia describe their car as a “stunning sports car concept” which has been designed by Kia’s California design team in Irvine, and is a 2+2 Sports Car which, say Kia, will make heads turn and provide superb driving enjoyment on road or on track.
