A quick word about shipping and handling charges: Please understand that what I charge covers many things; postage costs, GAS to and from the shipping location, packaging materials (the majority of these have to be purchased NEW, notably LP / 45 / CD / Video game & DVD mailers), UPS gas surcharges and time. Unfortunately, these things don't pack and address themselves! And considering the level of care I taken in packaging items, and the promptness by which I get them posted to you, I think what I charge is reasonable. And I DO combine shipping on multipule items. I certainly don’t want to take advantage by overcharging for shipping! If you have a question or comment about shipping, please email before bidding. Please, do not buy the item and then leave me negative feedback because we do not agree on your perception of reasonable shipping charges!

Any items sold still sealed that have been opened are not returnable! Absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS!!

NOTE: I do combine shipping on multipule items won & I will provide a tracking number when item(s) are shipped via UPS ground. I ONLY LEAVE FEEDBACK AFTER FEEDBACK IS LEFT FOR ME

Sun, 13 May 2012

BMW M135i BMW has revealed the production version of the M135i from this year’s Geneva Show. Three or five door and 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds. BMW’s M Performance range is a step down from a full blown BMW M, but very appealing nonetheless.

MINI Countryman Coupe to be production version of MINI Paceman

Tue, 13 Mar 2012

The MINI Paceman will become the MINI Countryman Coupe for production It looks like the production version of the MINI Paceman Concept is going to be the MINI Countryman Coupe. Yes, it is hard to keep track of MINI’s models, never mind their never ending concepts. Despite that you may remember the MINI Paceman that arrived at Detroit last year and which, at the time, we referred to as a MINI Countryman Coupe.

Call for reform over road repair funding

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

FUNDING patterns mean most road maintenance is being carried out in "less-efficient, cold and wet" times, a report from a Government spending watchdog has said. The current pattern of funding, combined with the need to spend money within the financial year, means that most maintenance work goes on between September and March, said the report from the National Audit Office (NAO). It went on: "Although this is less disruptive for road users, it is less efficient than carrying out the work at other times of year because materials can be more difficult to handle in cold and wet conditions, and daylight hours are shorter." The report went on: "As a result of the additional funding for emergency repairs, which is made available at the end of the financial year, almost all highways authorities need extra capacity from the market at the same time, which makes it less likely that they will get value for money." The NAO report said there was a "lack of predictability" over road spending adding that historically, local highway authorities spent more revenue on maintenance, but were now carrying out fewer routine activities such as clearing gullies which are essential to preventing water seeping into roads' sub-structure.
