After individual deliberation by our panel of renowned senior designers, students being tutored at colleges in a diverse range of countries including Israel, the Czech Republic, Australia, Taiwan, Canada and China, as well as in the established centres of Europe, the USA and Japan/Korea, have made the 68-strong shortlist of potential winners. If you’re an enthusiast of two-wheeled machinery, this video of Italian motorcycle racer Andrea Dovizioso discussing the perfect lap is sure to get your blood moving. Dovizioso races for the Honda Repsol Team in the MotoGP series, and here he gives us a 1,000-frames-per-second look at all of the knee-dragging, tire-slipping action in super-slow motion. Currently, Dovizioso is third in the MotoGP standings, behind Spain’s Jorge Lorenzo and Australia’s Casey Stoner.

Mercedes has updated the E63 AMG super saloon with a range of minor tweaks, and one major one. Say goodbye to the 6.2-litre naturally-aspirated V8 engine which heralded the '63' badging, and hello to another downsized, forced-induction response to tightening emissions and economy requirements. The 2011 E63 receives the twin-turbo 5.5-litre V8 engine first seen in the S63 AMG, and now powering the CL63 and CLS63 as well. So the Mercedes E63 AMG is actually an E55 AMG?
